    Opened in 1994, our studio boasts a large range of facilities for students and is conveniently located in the centre of town for parents. There are 3 fully equipped studios within the venue with wall attached barres, full length mirrors, stereo system and air-conditioning.

    The renovated change room has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave and suitable seating for parents. Newly installed are our cupboards for students bags and accessories.

    Inspirational dance pictures, photographs, certificates and trophies decorate the walls of the studios and changeroom. There are lockable toilets on the premises and a sensor light for the entry driveway for night time drop off and pick up.

    Tantrum Youth Arts have been offering workshops for 40 years, allowing countless young people the opportunity to develop life skills such as communication, problem solving, teamwork, adaptability and creative thinking: whilst experiencing all that theatre making has to offer. More than an after-school drama program, Tantrum’s emphasis is to create new work where participants explore a variety of performance modes throughout the year.

    WEA Academy of Creative Arts is Newcastle's leading training provider for aspiring Musical Theatre performers in the Hunter area. Offering a full-time CUA50213 Diploma of Musical Theatre, WEA Academy of Creative Arts strives to offering contemporary, practical quality tution with a focus on skills based learning. As part of our course delivery, we offer an exciting cabaret series each year as well a full scale musical each year.
